Chipper, Slasherball and Me on the adventure of a lifetime

"Hurry up Chipper!" I said. I was as happy as the sun! My mom had let me go to the Wizard's Tower in search for the 'talking' spell. Chipper was a green and black 'thing'. He can turn into anything. He's kind and nice but somehow impatient. He can't talk unless we have the talking spell.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch... stop stepping on me!" yelled the grumpy Slasherball. Slasherball was grumpy and rude because my mom thought he was my pet yesterday and had put him in the cage overnight.

The tower was very high. It was very cold outside. (Snowing) "Do you think there's anybody here? It says there isn't anybody inside the tower in a book. That the book is drivel!" I snapped. "It also says there's disobedient and mischievous monsters," said Slasherball as we climbed up the stairs. "Nnnn!" whined Chipper. "Whoa!" I yelled.

The stairs started to move. "Raaaarrgh!" came a fierce roar. Monsters and arrows started coming towards us. We darted left, right and I quickly took out a mesh my mum gave me. I threw it on the monsters. I knew it wasn't going to last long because it was made of twine. "Come on!" I yelled as I took Chipper and ran.

"Whoa!" I said, "Not again!" The floor started to rumble, and suddenly, a door slid open from the pile of planks. Chilly wind swished out, and suddenly, I was growing wings. I was becoming a dragon! I could sense any little movement. I stumbled a little while I tried to advance toward Chipper. Chipper withdrawn away into the darkness and whined. "It's okay, Chipper," I said, "I think." While I said that, I also reminded myself it was OK. I murmured, "I will - I mean - we will be having a very big and unnatural adventure indeed."

We deliberated who should go down into the floorboard tunnel when I said, "Maybe we should all go down into the hole!" "Fine, fine," said Slasherball. We all jumped down into the cold tunnel into the deep, dark blackness.

"I can't see! I can't see!" shouted a voice which I thought was Slasherball's. Chipper started to turn into a candle. I held up a 'Chipper' made candle and in no time, the room was filled with a soft glow of the dim light.

"It's a spell room!" I gasped, "Maybe we can find the spell!" We quickly searched around the little room, but Chipper had to stay as a candle. We found a light switch and I turned it on. Chipper gladly turned back to his normal self. We eventually found the spell. It was a 'hard-to-pronounce' spell. It was pronounced: Supercalifragilisticexpealidotious. I packed it into my bag to practice on later. "I wonder how would we get home," I said. Then, something caught my cat-like eye. It was a bird made of granite and crystal. It had something engraved on it. I held it in my scaly arms. Light swirled around me and I found out that I was back as a human. I took the gemstone and I said the word engraved, "fly."

I gently flew off the ground into to the still air and not so far away, were my two friends. We flew out of the window, over the tower and back home.

As I looked out the window of my house and smiled, it was an ending, yet it was also the beginning of my story.
